ADVANCED CLINICAL AROMATHERAPY INTENSIVE
RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM IN PROVENCE
PART 1
July 2nd-10th
This special program of advanced study has been designed for qualified aromatherapists who wish to expand and deepen their experience of using essential oils as powerful, safe therapeutic tools. Held in a stunning location in Provence that is conducive to study, reflection, and relaxation, this residential intensive is ideal for networking with therapists from other countries and for engaging a rich and rewarding program of studies.
Building on the existing knowledge and skills of each participant, the course will lead the aromatherapist into a new dimension of essential oil therapeutics. It will achieve this not only through a high standard of theoretical expertise, but also through special emphasis on experiential involvement of the course participants themselves. The course will thus provide aromatherapists with a unique opportunity to explore the different methods of application of essential oils employed in Aromatic medicine in a safe and supportive setting.
All routes of administration are explored during this program including inhalation, skin application, oral, sublingual, rectal and vaginal. Crucial issues of essential oil safety and research information will also be carefully addressed.
Held over a nine day period (comprising six days of intensive study) the program provides the opportunity to engage in serious study whilst also enjoying all that Provence has to offer, including direct contact with aromatic plants in their wild as well as cultivated states.
Comprehensive printed course notes are provided along with a certificate of attendance. Please note that this program does not provide the authority to practice Aromatic medicine.
The key facilitator for the program is Rhiannon Harris. During the course she will openly share her considerable experience of using essential oils in clinical contexts, and introduce therapists to the key concepts of Aromatic medicine using an evidence-based approach. Bob Harris will help to facilitate the course by providing access to the latest relevant essential oil research.
This program includes all group transportation and accommodation costs for the duration of the study program. Accommodation is in twin bedded hotel rooms with breakfast and one meal per day included in the cost of the program. The program begins and ends at Nice Cote D’Azur airport.
